Lead Dietary Aide - Ft

Friendship Village Tempe is seeking a Lead Dietary Aide!

Schedule: 6:00am-2:30pm, including weekends and holidays

Pay: $18.90-$20.79 DOE

SUMMARY: Provide high quality, caring service to residents and guests at scheduled meals and special events. Maintain food service areas in a neat, clean and sanitary manner. Interact with residents, guests and co-workers in a friendly and helpful manner. Assure that foods and beverages served to residents are healthful and of good quality, and that all residents who are on restricted or prescribed diets receive foods and beverages conforming to their dietary needs. Supervise Diet Aides during meal service, in the completion of their job routines and ensure that food service staff is practicing safe food handling procedures. Follow instructions from Dietary manager pertaining to making diet and supplement changes on resident’s menu labels

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

• Previous experience as a diet aide and some knowledge of nutritional sciences are desirable.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:

• Must acquire a food handler's certification from the local Health Department within 30 days of hire.
• Must possess and maintain valid Level 1 Arizona Fingerprint Clearance card.
