Form of workO'Neal, Inc. is seeking an experienced Control Systems Engineer for work in our Greenville, SC home office. This key role will interface with clients, vendors, construction personnel, and other engineering disciplines to ensure successful project delivery.
The ideal applicant will have a BS in Engineering (EIT/PE preferred) and a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience with industrial automation, to include P&ID development, loop sheet design, PLC system design, control panel design, DCS/PLC/HMI programming, instrument specifications, and field start-up. Strong ControlLogix or Siemens programming experience and proficiency with Wonderware, Tia Portal, or FactoryTalk View is a plus. Prior experience with EthernetIP, Profinet, or other industrial ethernet network protocols is desired.
Candidates must have strong organizational & administrative skills and be capable of assisting with the development of junior engineers and/or designers. This position will carry select projects through startup and commissioning, with travel as required.
