Job Description
- Responsible for the analysis, development and testing on full life-cycle software development projects using Agile methodologies, including Extreme Programming, Continuous Integration, Continuous Delivery, Test-Driven Development and pair programming.
- Design and execute automation test frameworks, including writing unit, functional and integration tests.
- Plan automation test strategies by analyzing business requirements and design specifications.
- Investigate, assemble and maintain system test data. Works with a distributed project team that requires coordination across countries and time zones.
- Coach and mentor developers and software testing engineers on Agile Best Practices and various languages and technologies.
- Use technologies such as Java, Ruby, JUnit, J2EE, JavaScript, Cucumber and Selenium.
- Must have Bachelor's in Computer Science, Computer or Electrical Engineering, Information Systems, or related field.
- Must have 5 years exp in the job offered, Consultant, Software Testing Engineer or related IT position.
Must have at least thirty-six (36) months experience in:
- Using Selenium, Cucumber, TestNG testing tools to test custom-designed, object-oriented software applications using Java, Ruby or .NET;
- Planning automation test strategies by analyzing business requirements and design specifications;
- Writing test plans, test objectives and test cases for manual regression and automating them using unit, functional and integration tests;
- Leading full life-cycle software solutions including analysis, development and testing;
- Investigating, assembling and maintaining system test data;
- Using Agile methodologies, including Extreme Programming, Continuous Integration, Continuous Delivery, Test-Driven Development and pair programming;
- Coaching and mentoring developers on Agile Best Practices and various languages and testing tools; and
- Working on distributed Agile teams across countries and time zones.
