SALARY/HOURLY RATE:$65,000
POSITION OVERVIEW:As a Fashion Sourcing Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in our supply chain operations, ensuring that we source the highest quality materials and products to meet the demands of our discerning clientele. The Fashion Sourcing Coordinator will work closely with our design team to understand their vision and translate it into tangible sourcing strategies.
RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE FASHION SOURCING COORDINATOR:- Collaborate with design teams to understand sourcing requirements for upcoming collections
- Research and identify potential suppliers, both domestically and internationally, that align with our quality standards and ethical sourcing practices
- Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with suppliers to ensure cost-effectiveness and timely delivery of materials and products
- Conduct regular supplier evaluations to assess performance and quality and address any issues or concerns
- Manage the end-to-end sourcing process, from initial supplier contact to final product delivery, ensuring seamless coordination between all stakeholders
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, market developments, and emerging technologies to inform sourcing decisions and maintain a competitive edge
- Must have 3 years experience plus in Sourcing
- Must be fluent in Mandarin and Cantonese
- Previous experience in FASHION SOURCING, preferably within the apparel or accessories industry
- Strong negotiation skills and the ability to build and maintain positive relationships with suppliers
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with sourcing software and databases
- Knowledge of sustainability and ethical sourcing practices is a plus
- Bachelor’s degree is required
