In this role, you would be primary responsible for supporting and enhancing web application.
Responsibilities
Experience on Tools Proficy, Proficy Workflow, PFMD (Proficy for Discrete Manufacturing),Historian, CIMPLICITY
Experience on ERP-Proficy Integration and Shop Floor system integrations (Powermax, Kronos, Dell Boomi)
Expertise on SQL Server, PostgreSQL Databases
Thingworx 9.1 Knowledge and understanding of ISA 95 would be added advantage
Linux-experience to handle Thingworx / UCC and Tomcat service hosting and error management
VB and .Net Technologies
Should be familiar with MES domain and terminologies
Should be flexible at working in Rotational shifts schedule
Supporting/Troubleshooting existing Dot Net desktop based and web-based application.
Capability to lead team and should have strong customer focus
Responsible for resolving technical issues for consumers, partners, clients or internal stakeholders by addressing issues assigned to them through the ticketing systems using process specifications following operating procedures
Creating, scheduling, monitoring jobs, troubleshooting jobs
Go through logs and trace back to code as to what is going wrong
Manage and resolve production incidents. Covers system outages, job failures, system defects, data defects and end user support.
Execute and manage day-to-day operations via ticketing tools and processes
Ensure appropriate tool is updated in accordance to SLA specifications with case notes, status updates and case closure information.
Responsible to test the application features, should have understanding of any testing tool.
Qualifications we seek in you! Minimum Qualifications
B.E./ B.Tech/ MCA or equivalent
Preferred Qualifications/ Skills
Experience in GE Proficy Workflow 2.5,Historian,Proficy Plant Applications, Thingworx 8.1 ,AWS
Strong understanding in Relational database concepts
Good knowledge and work experience of SQL Server , PL/SQL, UNIX Shell Scripting
Experience with GIT and windows form
Ability to communicate, friendly and cultural behavior during customer contact and should have strong customer focus
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Flexible to work in shifts on rotation basis.
Willingness and ability to multi-task.
Willingness to learn the Product/Platform and associated technologies.
Should be able to handle client call, manage & mentor team.
Ability to be learn and apply new processes and tools.
Technical understanding of products/services and/or ecosystem being supported.
The approximate annual base compensation range for this position is [$50,000 to $62,000]. The actual offer, reflecting the total compensation package plus benefits, will be determined by a number of factors which include but are not limited to the applicant's experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities; geographic location; and internal equity
