NetSuite Operations Functional Lead - Warehouse Management/Supply Chain Management
Job Summary
This position is responsible for the process definition and configuration of NetSuite ERP system specifically in the Operations practice area. This may include the following functional areas: product lifecycle management, item definition, bill of material, procurement, inventory, manufacturing, warehousing, and shipping. The NetSuite Functional Lead will assist clients with process and configuration decisions through design workshops. The individual will also drive all meetings with the client and project team members. The Functional Lead will manage process analysis through design phases related to their respective functional areas including providing progress reporting for all work products, deliverables, and milestones.
Responsibilities:
Utilize core consulting skills including facilitating workshops, creating documentation, oral and written communication, creating and delivering presentations, conducting analysis, making recommendations, development and execution of test scenarios and test cases, support of data conversion and integration data mapping, development, and delivery of client end user training
Identify risks, issues, gaps, and resolution for in scope functional areas
Mentor onshore and offshore NetSuite team members
Required Skills:
Functional skills in 3-4 of the following areas: product lifecycle management, item definition, bill of material, procurement, inventory, manufacturing, warehousing, and shipping
Experience conducting business process definition and systems design workshops
Ability to proactively design, recommend, and compel clients to adopt leading practices and out-of-box functionality for relevant business flows
Presenting solution definition findings and obtaining client sign-off for functional design documents
Experience establishing role-based security and control requirements
Demonstrated strong written and verbal communications
Nice to Have Skills:
Demonstrated ability to lead a team and manage a consulting vendor and subcontract resources
Core consulting skills including facilitating workshops, creating documentation, oral and written communication, creating and delivering presentations, conducting analysis and making recommendations.
Experience with data design of relevant business processes (e.g. attributes for segmentation, reporting, lists of values)
Desired Industry Certifications include: CPIM, CPA, SCOR, CSCP, CLTD, Lean, Six Sigma
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or higher is required
Experience with Supply Chain Management and/or WMS a plus
1 or more Certifications: SuiteFoundation, ERP Consultant, Administrator
2-3 Full lifecycle NetSuite implementations performing in a Lead role, including hands-on configuration of the software, including basic SuiteCloud tools such as workflow and saved searches
Meaningful role in at least 1 business transformation project
Prior project history with diverse group of team members, business users, onshore & offshore on a day-to-day basis
