General Purpose and Scope of Position:

This position plays a critical role with safety & compliance. This position will work with the operations team, supporting order processing, inventory management, and overall warehouse performance. This position is tasked with providing outstanding customer service and is a key liaison between sales, operations, suppliers, and customers. Additionally, this position provides clerical assistance in order processing and inventory management.

Key Skills and Abilities Include:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required - Associate or Bachelors Degree preferred
  • Proficiency with technology and software, including Microsoft Office and Windows applications. Proficiency with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software is preferred, training will be provided
  • Knowledge of mathematical concepts and the ability to apply such concepts as fractions, percentages, and ratios to practical application with accuracy
  • Ability to sit at a desk and/or computer terminal to perform writing and/or keying/typing information for protracted periods
  • Mobility to move freely across uneven terrain both indoors and outdoors safely

Specific Responsibilities and Key Deliverables Include:

  • Manage onboarding of all new hires
    • Help with onboarding from beginning to end
    • After offer letter acceptance – emails, i9, background, MVR, etc
    • WPS training pesticide training
    • DOT File management, training,
  • Annual GPS and compliance training
    • Blood born pathogen
    • Chemical safety
    • Label training
    • Hours of service
    • Load securement
    • Pre-trip inspection
    • Maintain JSA’s
    • Maintain GPS compliance
  • Annual DPR CE hours
    • tracking for PCA, QAL, QAC
    • Meeting – training subjects, CE hours submission
  • Grower pesticide handler training
  • Navigator input and tracking
    • Help complete action plans with needed training updates
  • Weekly TIPS, and tailgate meetings/ training for managers and supervisors
  • Safety Committee membership
  • Deliver Monthly Safety Meetings with the Retail Manager
  • Validation of compliance – are we doing things the way we trained?
  • Evaluation of training to ensure retainment and best practices
    • Build data gathering loop
  • Cholinesterase Monitoring
  • Do monthly walks and inspections for a stormwater permit
  • Utilize JD Edwards (Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software), Microsoft Office, and other online platforms to perform daily duties (monitor and process sales orders, shipping documents, invoicing, and payment collection)
  • Responds to inquiries and emails from customers, clients, suppliers, and other stakeholders in a timely, accurate and appropriate manner
  • Assist with inventory management including the purchasing and receiving of products as well as daily/quarterly movement counts
  • Meet or exceed timelines established under Timely Transaction Processing Policy (TTP)
  • Work closely with the office team to ensure adequate inventory levels are maintained to meet customer needs
  • Assists other office team members in administrative tasks to ensure quality customer service, meeting deadlines, and sales support
  • Supports Sales and/or Operations Manager as requested
  • Exemplify compliance with company policies and procedures within the office and support the warehouse in remaining compliant with local, state, and federal regulations
  • All other duties as required

Compensation and Benefits:

  • In compliance with all states and cities that require transparency of pay, the base compensation for this position ranges from $22.74 - $30.29 per hour.  Note that wages may vary based on location, skills, and experience.  This position is eligible for vacation, holidays, health, dental, vision, mental health, retirement plans, and other benefits.
