Client has a strategic Reference Data System that hosts data across various sources systems. Various business transformations are done on this data before it is fed for use by various client functions ( Front Office, Middle Office, Compliance, Regulatory, and Risk). This role is for a Business Analyst that would work closely with clients to understand their data needs, and execute projects to meet those needs. Execution would require, engaging users and documenting BRDs, FRDs; Querying data to understand existing state, writing test case documents, and validating/testing changes done in system with user.
Mandatory skills
Experience in talking to various groups and defining business requirements and technical specification documents.
SQL, and Experience in defining data base objects such as Tables, Trigger, Primary keys, constraints, foreign keys etc.
Experience with SQL developer or Similar tool.
Data analysis using Excel (Vlookup, pivot tables etc.)
Ability to write test case documents
Exposure to JIRA.
Good to have skills
Understanding of Data Governance , Risk and Compliance.
Experience in Market Reference Data sourcing.
