Lead BehavioralHealth Worker for the Therapeutic Nursery to implement, supervise and support growth of fellow Behavioral Health workers in following through with treatment team recommendations and meet the needs of the children preschool-aged and their families presenting with crisis and Behavioral Health issues in a trauma-informed manner.
Responsibilities include, but not limited to,
- Supervise, mentor, and collaborate weekly with assigned Behavioral Health Workers in order to meet children and family goals
- Lead and facilitate daily and weekly BHW team meetings to review treatment for each child and family
- Immediate implementation of the children’s treatment plan in the structural milieu of the Therapeutic Nursery,
- Meet the overall therapeutic needs in order to facilitate effective therapy strategies
- Maintenance of self and assigned team members’ timely and accurate electronic chart records and ensure the completion of necessary documentation and outcome measures
- Support and maintain the classrooms and other play areas to provide and ordered, safe, clean and therapeutic environment at all times
- Participation in internal as well as external trainings ensuring completion of CCTC mandatory trainings.
Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology, Social Work, Education or related field with a minimum of two (2) to three (3) years direct care experience with children and adolescents with Behavioral Health challenges. Bilingual (English/Spanish) applicants encouraged to apply. Covid-19 Vaccination required.
