Lead And Assistant Preschool Teachers

Requirements

We are searching for a candidate with:

• ECE Teacher Certification or Family Child Care Experience a plus.
• 2+ years of verifiable experience working with young children in an educational setting
• Knowledge of developmentally appropriate teaching practices and enlightening activities for young children
• An explorer’s spirit with a love and wonder for the great outdoors
• Strong and compassionate communication skills and active listening abilities
• An enthusiasm for collaboration and an aspiration to continue early childhood education

Essential Responsibilities

A typical day may include:

• Planning and executing weekly lesson plans and implementing age-appropriate curriculum to nurture and stimulate all domains of children’s development
• Engaging and exploring in investigative and meaningful activities with students following our program’s daily rhythm
• Performing ongoing developmental assessments of each child’s growth and development and utilizing the assessment data to individualize learning experiences and lesson plans
• Promoting a nurturing and caring atmosphere that helps children and families feel secure within the learning environment
• Contribute to team efforts by completing additional responsibilities as needed including classroom upkeep.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 32 per week
