Job Purpose
The purpose of the Data Strategy Analyst is to analyze our organization's external and internal environment, assess current data strategies, and generate and evaluate the most successful strategic alternatives.
Key Accountabilities
- Collaborate with multiple stakeholders to ensure that our data strategy is data-driven
- Develop, manage and drive execution of the data strategy to enable the future of the electric business
•Developing a data strategy and engaging with the business to identify data-driven opportunities
•Develop Data Governance to ensure data and data roles are understood
•Create data visualizations to help communicate data insights effectively
•Communicate effectively with stakeholders to ensure data strategy is successful
•Work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
Supervisory/Interpersonal- Experience Required
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience specializing in Business or Data Science
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience in an electric utility company, preferably with a focus in electric asset data
- Experience participating / leading on project teams, preferably regulatory reporting projects

$106,000 - $125,000 a year
Salary:
Hicksville (Long Island, NY) and Brooklyn (Down State NY)
$127,000-$149,000 a year
This position has a career path which provides for advancement opportunities within and across bands as you develop and evolve in the position; gaining experience, expertise and acquiring and applying technical skills. Candidates will be assessed and provided offers against the minimum qualifications of this role and their individual experience.
