ROLE DESCRIPTION
This is a part-time on-site role for a Maintenance Apprentice located in Macomb, MI. You are a valued member of our team as a Maintenance Apprentice. The Maintenance Apprentice will be responsible for helping complete the daily Lawn Maintenance routes with the Maintenance Crew leader. They will also be responsible for completing other soft landscaping projects such as mulch installation, weeding, hedge trimming, etc. You will be mowing, trimming, and edging multiple properties a day. Your role will include using equipment such as zero-turn lawn mowers, weed whackers, edgers, backpack blowers, hedgers, pruners, and hand tools.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Ability to follow instructions and learn on the job
- Knowledge of Lawn Maintenance equipment and techniques
- Have a strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Good communication and time management skills
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 35 per week
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
Work Location: In person
