Duties:
- Apply fertilizers, pesticides, fungicides, and herbicides to ensure the health and appearance of lawns and ornamentals
- Operate power tools and equipment necessary for lawn and ornamental applications- Operate Isuzu cab over with fresh water tank safely following all rules, laws, regulations, and guidelines of the road
- Communicate tasks performed to customer via in in person onsite, text, or phone call and use pest control routing software to invoice customer and keep a log of products used and amounts applied on property
Requirements:
- Previous experience is preferred but not required, will train on the job
- Knowledge of Lawn Care techniques, including proper lawn fertilization with granular spreader and liquid application practices for lawn and ornamentals
- Familiarity and proper identification of turf destroying insects, fungus/disease, and weeds
- Ability to operate power tools and equipment safely and efficiently
- Basic mechanical knowledge for equipment maintenance and repairs
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Physical stamina to perform outdoor work in various weather conditions and able to lift 50 lbs
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
Skills:
- Communication skills with customers and team members
- Mechanical Knowledge: Basic understanding of mechanical principles for equipment maintenance.
- Lawn Care: Proficient in fertilizing with manual granular push spreader, and applying pesticides or herbicides.
