SalaryU.S. Grounds Maintenance is the premier provider of total grounds maintenance solutions to government and commercial customers throughout the United States. Headquartered in Omaha, the heart of America, we offer lawncare, landscape, snow removal, tree service, irrigation, and much more.
This position is responsible for mowing, weed eating, tree trimming, landscaping, and related duties. This position may be full-time or temporary, depending on the weather.
Requirements
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Able to report to work by 7:00 AM
- Physically capable of standing, kneeling, and stooping as required throughout the day
- Capable of obtaining a contractor’s badge from the US government to access Offutt AFB. The badge is issued at Offutt AFB’s discretion following a background check.
- At least 18 years old
Additional requirements, depending on the crew, may include:
- No current warrants
- No back child support due
- Acceptable criminal history
Preferred Skills and Experience
- 2+ years of commercial lawn care experience (preferred)
- Ability to safely use and operate zero turn mowers, trimmers, blowers, and other ground maintenance machinery
- Experience with the operation of 75-120 horsepower tractors and various mower decks, including bush-hog and flail
- Knowledgeable in the application of pesticides and fertilizer, specifically ornamental and turf, right-of-way, and aquatic (preferred but not required)
