JOB SUMMARY
Operates linen processing equipment, collects soiled linen, delivers clean linen, keeps accurate records.
Job Specific:
- Operates linen processing equipment. (EF)
- Sorts, folds and counts clean linen. (EF)
- Collects and processes soiled linen. (EF)
- Works in close proximity - requires cooperative disposition and positive, helpful attitude. (EF)
- Delivers adequate supplies of clean linen and keeping accurate records.
Hospital:
- Adheres to organization-wide and other applicable policies and procedures.
- Day-to-day performance complies with the hospital’s Service Excellence Behavioral Expectations.
- Performs within the prescribed limits of the hospital’s Ethics, Compliance and Confidentiality Program guidelines.
- Performs within his/her professional Scope of Practice at all times.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- Ability to read and write in English and perform basic math
- Consistent work history and/or education
PREFERRED:
- High School diploma
- Two years’ experience in healthcare environmental services or laundry
