LAUNDRY ATTENDANT-WASH, PRESS, & FOLD

We are now accepting applications for an On Call part to full time Laundry Attendant at Fresh & Clean Laundry who will specialize in washing, pressing, folding, and packaging laundry. We are a family-owned business with many long time and loyal customers. We are also a growing business as a result of our expanding wash and fold laundry services. This is a great opportunity with income growth potential. We are looking for a responsible individual who is able to efficiently and effecetively wash, dry, fold, and package laundry. The successful candidate will have flexible availability, including the ability to work the overnight/early morning shifts.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform washing, pressing, folding, and packaging of laundry according to procedures.
• Coordinate the receipt, collection, packaging, and storage of laundry items delivered for wash and fold laundry service with the assistance of our computer system.
• Ensure quality assurance standards are met.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• 18 years or older
• Ability to wash, dry, fold, and package laundry in an efficient and effective manner (training will be provided)
• Ability to learn how to use basic software for tracking Wash and Fold orders
• Ability to communicate effectively with coworkers
• Comfortable lifting bags of laundry weighing up to 20 lbs
• Well-kept appearance
• Legally authorized to work in the United States
• Be able to pass a background test

ADDITIONAL DESIRABLE EXPERIENCE

• Previous laundromat experience
• Experience with laundering techniques and procedures
• Wash, dry, and fold (Fluff & Fold) service experience
• Previous experience with a Point-of-Sale software system

SHIFTS AVAILABLE

• Overnight/Early Morning 1- Shift starts at 4:00 am and will last anywhere from 5 hours to 8 hours, depending on how much laundry there is to process.
• Overnight/Early Morning 2- Shift starts at 6:00 am and will last anywhere from 5 hours to 8 hours, depending on how much laundry there is to process.
• We currently have on-call shifts available Monday-Saturday- We are looking for people who are available to work anywhere from 3 to 6 days per week.

PAY AND BENEFITS

• Your base pay will be $18.00/hour.
• You can earn performance bonuses as you and your team become more efficient and effective with our laundering techniques. Experienced attendants can earn up to $22/hr or more after including bonuses!
• You will receive $40 in free laundry credit every month after working 90 days with the Company.
• You will start earning 1 week paid vacation per year after working 1 yr with the Company

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 – 40 per week
