SUMMARY:

Operate production equipment associated with the KroMex division by coordinating and/or working with the Badging Department Supervisor.

DUTIES:
  • Process information from the production orders
  • Set up and operate the KroMex equipment and Laser Cutters
  • Inspect production parts after each operation for defects
  • Communicate with supervisor about job specifications and requirements
  • Follow relevant safety/health and environmental regulations
  • Be familiar with and follow ISO Quality System procedures
  • Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor
QUALIFICATIONS:

Education and/or Experience:

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • 1 year of experience as machine operator in manufacturing setting.
  • Knowledge of lamination and vacuum forming preferred.
  • Competent computer skills

SPECIAL SKILLS OR ABILITIES: Must possess the following skills:

  • Language Skills: Must be able to read, analyze, and interpret general information pertaining to the job. Must be able to prepare reports required for the job. Must be able to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing, and be able to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers & other employees. Fluent in English.
  • Reasoning Ability: Must have the ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed written or oral instructions. Must have the ability to apply information and variables learned from one task or project to other similar situations.

EQUIPMENT USED:

Custom machines, computers, calipers/rulers.
