We currently have an immediate opening for Full TimeLandscape Equipment and Automotive Mechanic in our Charlotte branch.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of Equipment and vehicles, including but not limited to automobiles, trucks, construction equipment, and landscape machinery. This role requires a meticulous attention to detail, excellent problem-solving skills, and a commitment to ensuring the safety and reliability of all Equipment and vehicles.
Responsibilities:
Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes, tire rotations, and fluid checks, on a wide range of vehicles and equipment.
Diagnose mechanical issues and perform repairs on engines, transmissions, brakes, steering systems, and other components.
Utilize diagnostic tools and equipment to identify and troubleshoot problems efficiently.
Conduct thorough inspections of Equipment and vehicles to identify potential issues and prevent breakdowns.
Keep accurate records of all maintenance and repair work performed, including parts used and hours worked.
Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to prioritize tasks and ensure efficient workflow.
Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to prevent accidents and injuries in the workplace.
Stay current with industry trends, technology advancements, and best practices in Equipment and Automotive repair.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent; technical school or vocational training in automotive or diesel mechanics preferred.
Proven experience as an equipment or Automotive Mechanic, with a minimum of 2 years in the field.
Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, including engines, hydraulics, electrical systems, and computerized controls.
Excellent problem-solving skills and a methodical approach to diagnosing and resolving mechanical issues.
Physical strength and stamina to lift heavy parts and equipment, as well as dexterity to maneuver in tight spaces.
Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
Willingness to work flexible hours and occasional weekends, especially during busy seasons or emergency situations.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $24.00 - $29.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
