Landscape Department Assistant

Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Department Assistant to join our team. As a Landscape Department Assistant, you will provide administrative support to ensure the efficient operation of our department. This is a full-time position

Qualifications:

• Good Computer Skills
• Strong Communication & interpersonal skills to collaborate with team members, subcontractors, supplies, and clients
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
• Self-motivated & proactive mindset with a willingness to learn and grow
• Knowledge of landscape materials and terminology is a plus but not required
• Familiarity with construction plans, drawing, and specifications is a plus but not required
• Valid Driver's license

Responsibilities:

• Answer incoming calls & schedule meetings for potential landscape projects
• Assist the estimating team in preparing accurate & timely proposals for landscape projects
• Collaborate with subcontractors and suppliers to gather pricing information and obtain competitive bids
• Review and analyze subcontractor bids and proposals, ensuring they align with project requirements and budget constraints
• Maintain organized and up-to-date estimating documents, including cost estimate quotes and project files
• Support the estimating team in preparing and submitting project proposals and bid packages
• Stay updated on industry trends, construction costs, and material pricing to enhance the accuracy of estimates
