Land Survey Technician

Hire Resolve’s client is a leading Civil Engineering firm that is urgently seeking the expertise of a Land Survey Technician in Waldorf, MD.

Responsibilities:

• Preparing various survey plan documents (i.e. topographic mapping, boundary and ALTA surveys, as-built surveys, platting, construction layouts, metes and bounds descriptions, easements exhibits and legal descriptions).
• Also, may be responsible for communicating with clients, local and municipal authorities.

Requirements

• 5+ years progressive experience in survey coordination for residential/commercial development preferred.
• Experience in surveying in Maryland preferred, but not required.
• Proficiency in CADD drafting is required; Knowledge of MicroStation or Bentley CADD software is preferred.
• General knowledge of current public agency codes, processes, and standards
• Must have the ability to communicate effectively, both orally and written
• Must have ability to work in a team environment.
• Registered Land Surveyor in the State of Maryland preferred, but not required
