Position Overview and Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Landman and define unit boundaries.
- Maintain shapefiles and attributes in GIS for preliminary and final spacing units (Operated & Non-operated).
- Create, prepare and validate Unit Tabulations and WI/NRI summaries.
- Prepare Unit Declaration exhibit plats.
- Support Area of Review (ARO) process
- Prepare and track incoming and outgoing well elections and update partner elections reports.
- Calculate cross allocation well stimulated Lateral lengths across units.
- Prepare initial Land Summaries be used in title clearance process by Land Team
- Create various Land schedules, plats and shapefiles in support of Land deals and A&D activity.
- Review third party data and verify system accuracy when needed.
- Verify and deed plot complex legal descriptions.
- Working with internal and external teams, including land brokers and maintaining parcel data on a scheduled basis.
- Monitor and ensure broker map requests are managed and updated timely in ArcGIS basemap and QLS
- Support Land with ad-hoc inquires and requests.
- Work in conjunction with Land team on various projects
- Ensure continuous improvement of software, technology, and work processes.
Required Education, Experience, Technical Qualifications
- Bachelor Degree
- 5+ years of work related to land, GIS and general Oil & Gas experience
- Strong technical acumen with MS Office suite - Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
- Experience with GIS and Decision Space
- Experience with Quorum Land System and Quorum GIS
- Experience with ESRI ArcGIS software and extensions
- Excellent communication skills: ability to create and update system documentation, technical reports, and communicate with the peers

Physical / Environmental Demands
- No exposure to safety hazards as the work environment is relatively free of hazards and there are not physically demanding aspects of the job
