Operations Analyst

Job Responsibilities
Plays an important role within the operations team by controlling and entering data, tracking progress of various projects, supporting, and improving processes, and making analytically driven decisions. Works closely with the management team to control data, analyze operational expenses, project schedules, and key performance indicators. Reports to the Operations Controller and has no supervisory responsibilities.

• Prepares, analyzes, and distributes various reports as required for monitoring and tracking operational activities through Microsoft Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Word, etc.
• Keeps up with daily production tracking and data entry.
• Responds to internal and external inquiries.
• Organize and manage field project documents.
• Identifies workflow and process improvements to present to other departments.
• Become familiar with NAV accounting system.
• Presents data related to projects assigned clearly, accurately, and concisely.
• Develop configurations and processes to prepare customer data for import to our system.
• Import, process, and validate customer provided data for import into our system.
• Communicate with customer as needed to resolve data issues.
• Utilize tools provided to build deliverable import/export configurations.
• Generate data reports as requested by internal or external customers.
• Works closely with Sales and Operations to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Provides analytical support for all departments.
• Assists Operations Controller with other assigned duties.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree business or geography preferred or 2+ years of related experience or training.
• At least 1-2 year of relative experience in utility services industry.
• Proficient Microsoft Excel, such as VLOOKUP's, pivot tables, and filtering/sorting
• Working knowledge of GIS Systems; preferred ArcGIS knowledge
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Requires high level of detail, accuracy, and follow-up.
• Capable of handling multiple projects in a fast-moving environment
• Self-motivated, self-starter, creative thinker who can offer solutions to various challenges.
• Excellent analytical and organizational skills
• Maintain professional relationships with clients, vendors, managers, and peers.
• Attention to detail.
