Lakeview WIOA Youth & Adult Advisor

Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Youth & Adult Advisor to join our team in Lakeview, OR. The perfect individual will be able to successfully coordinate pre-employment training, internships, job placement and community services to assigned participants.

Duties:
- Provide individualized support and counseling to youth facing behavioral health challenges

- Monitor participant's progress on a weekly basis and provide counseling, mentoring, resource sharing and other related services.
- Assist participants in securing employment when they have met all goals and completed the career pathways developed during enrollment and participation.
- Coordinate with community resources to ensure access to necessary services for clients
- Maintain accurate records of interactions and progress

Skills:
- Experience working with individuals in a mentoring or educational capacity
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to relate to people from various socio-economic backgrounds.
- Ability to effectively manage conflicts and resolve issues

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
