Supervisors are responsible for hiring, scheduling, park-based instruction, and documentation. They also oversee the waterpark operation including observing/auditing the lifeguards, attendants, and leads. All Lifeguard Supervisors must be certified by Ellis & Associates as Open Water Lifeguards.

Summary
Supervisors are responsible for hiring, scheduling, park based instruction, and documentation. They also oversee the waterpark operation including observing/auditing the lifeguards, attendants, and leads. All Lifeguard Supervisors must be certified by Ellis & Associates as Open Water Lifeguards.
Roles & Responsibilities
Hiring

• Call considerable candidates
• Hold interviews
• Complete appropriate hiring documentation

Park-Based Instruction

• Instruct Safe Operations
• Oversee on site training productivity, certify team members

Scheduling

• Become familiar with functions of Quinyx
• Post schedules at least 2 weeks in advance
• Approve and deny absence requests, shift bookings, and shift swaps ASAP

Overseeing Waterpark Operation

• Adjust rotations for appropriate day-to-day staffing, efficient labor usage, and
• problem-solving
• Manage and track zone coverage
• Oversee the productivity of other supervisors
• Handle guest relations

Management Team

• Help with team development

• MIS
