Supervisors are responsible for hiring, scheduling, park-based instruction, and documentation. They also oversee the waterpark operation including observing/auditing the lifeguards, attendants, and leads. All Lifeguard Supervisors must be certified by Ellis & Associates as Open Water Lifeguards.

Roles & Responsibilities
Hiring
- Call considerable candidates
- Hold interviews
- Complete appropriate hiring documentation
Park-Based Instruction
- Instruct Safe Operations
- Oversee on site training productivity, certify team members
Scheduling
- Become familiar with functions of Quinyx
- Post schedules at least 2 weeks in advance
- Approve and deny absence requests, shift bookings, and shift swaps ASAP
Overseeing Waterpark Operation
- Adjust rotations for appropriate day-to-day staffing, efficient labor usage, and
- problem-solving
- Manage and track zone coverage
- Oversee the productivity of other supervisors
- Handle guest relations
