Laboratory Technician

Job Title: Laboratory Technician

Location: Lafayette, IN USA  47904

Pay - $25/hour on W2

Description:

Responsibilities:

• Perform all applicable in-process and product release testing, qualification testing, and validation testing including, but not limited to, Endotoxin, Moisture Content, Seal Strength, Onset Temperature, Suture Strength, Tensile Strength and DNA testing.
• Perform water system testing(including but not limited to, bioburden, endotoxin, conductivity, and TOC), as applicable.
• Write and review SOPs as necessary for laboratory tests and processes.
• Conduct laboratory testing for studies
• Maintain records and generate trending data.
• Perform environmental monitoring, including sampling, incubation and reading test results
• Collect samples for testing, as needed.
• Ensure all records are properly filed, secured, and controlled.
• Conduct trend analysis of lab tests and other quality indicators as needed.
• Manage and maintain a clean, orderly, and compliant QC laboratory.
• Maintain all laboratory testing supplies and materials.
• Create PM checklists within the CMMS software program and assign to QC Laboratory
• Equipment Assets, as applicable
• Perform preventative maintenance on laboratory equipment, as needed.
• Report non-conforming product to QC Management
• Work in a Team environment to coordinate job duties.
• Serve as backup for generating monthly facility temperature/humidity reports, as applicable

Required:

• Bachelor's degree in a scientific related discipline, or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum of two (2) years experience in a laboratory environment preferred.
