Pay Rate: $18.00- $20.00/hr W2 Contract
QC Lab Technician- Lincoln, NE
Leading manufacturer of over the counter medications is seeking a QC Lab Technician for their Lincoln, NE location.
Responsibilities:
- 2nd Shift M-F (12:00pm- 8:30pm)
- Conduct sampling and/or testing of incoming materials, finished product, micro, and/or participate in the additional support activities to ensure compliance with regulatory agencies’ requirements and company standards.
- Conduct checking and/or release of incoming materials, finished product, and micro testing.
- Develops knowledge of functional area policies and procedures and performs routine analytical testing and/or sampling functions in at least one QC laboratory.
- Develops an understanding of applicable, current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) requirements, laboratory processes and procedures, utilization of good documentation practices (GDPs) and other regulatory authority requirements.
- Maintains all training requirements for assigned tasks.
- Develops operational proficiency using analytical techniques and instrumentation to support sampling and/or testing for applicable products and incoming materials.
- Works independently and/or in a team environment to meet or exceed established objectives, applicable Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Quality Performance Indicators (QPIs).
- Understands established internal and external customer expectations and maintains effective communication pathways.
- Contributes to projects as assigned and participates in continuous improvement efforts.
- Know, understand and comply with all Environment, Health and Safety (EHS) guidelines
- Report unsafe conditions
- Report all injuries, illnesses and hazardous materials releases
- Wear personal protective equipment
- Attend EHS training programs
- Follow all safe work procedures
- Adhere to all Quality Compliance standards (Data Integrity, QA, and QC, etc.)
- Adhere to QMS policy and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications:
- High School diploma required
- Associates Degree or higher in a Science-related field or study preferred

Technical Certification Bonus:
Synectics is pleased to award its employees a bonus of up to $500 for an approved professional certification. In determining the bonus amount, Synectics will consider the cost of the test(s) for any certification relating to your current position, achieved during your employment with us. Only one Certification Bonus per calendar year may be awarded per employee. Only current, active employees will be eligible to receive this bonus. It will be awarded 90 days after the Synectics office has received documentation confirming the successful completion of the certification.
