About us: Flowers Hospital is a 235-bed healthcare facility offering inpatient, outpatient, medical, surgical, diagnostic and emergency care for the Wiregrass community. Job Summary: Provides decision making and problem solving skills based on in-depth knowledge of laboratory procedures. Performs microbiology specimen processing and culture set-up. Performs laboratory specimen send outs. Performs waived and moderately complex texting. Performs courier duties as needed. Performs data entry for regulatory requirements.
Educations: High School Graduate or equivalent required. Some college level biological science preferred.
Experience: Two years of previous experience in a laboratory setting preferred.
