Job Description
+75-85% of the day will be running tests
+10% of the day will be doing data entry/review
+10% will be out on the shop floor collecting samples and getting results back to the operators
+Obtain and perform quality tests on samples of raw materials, intermediates and finished goods using the full spectrum of analytical tools and technology available. Record data, analyze and present analysis to the proper personnel.
+Maintenance and calibration of analytical equipment
+Perform additional special tests as required
+Prepare samples for shipment following regulatory requirements
+Prepare and install equipment needed for HPLC and GC analysis for different actives such as programming new methods or installing new columns.
+Conduct special testing and analysis in conjunction with new product development, trouble-shooting of complaint samples and investigation/analysis of off-spec products and raw materials.
+Ensure samples in the control laboratory are processed fully, accurately, posted and done so in a timely manner.
+Conduct the proper and safe handling of hazardous waste, where appropriate (e.g. sampling and/or filling of hazardous waste containers, transfer hazardous waste to proper locations, etc.).
+Comply with all ISO 9001:2008 QMS and RCMS:2008 requirements and suggest improvements
+Conduct inventory counts for lab supplies
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Must Have:
+Either 2 plus years of manufacturing experience with diploma/GED in a lab OR 0 plus years experience with a 4 year degree
+Basic Computer Proficiency (SAP is a Plus)
+Manufacturing/Production experience (plus from chemicals)
+Wet Chemistry: Pipetting, Calculations (addition/subtraction/conversions)

Pay: $19.00 - $20.00 per hour
