Responsibilities:
- Performs quality control testing and recognizes deviations from acceptable values.
- Ensures proper maintenance is completed.
- Performs calibration of instruments, proficiency survey testing, and end of month QC.
- Collects urine samples and performs COVID-19 testing.
- Uses LIS and EMR for various job duties.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or associate degree or equivalent work experience.
- 1-2 years of experience in laboratory science.
- Strong computer skills including EMR experience.
- Must demonstrate sound and independent judgement.
- Willingness to professionally interact with others both in person and through written communication.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of patient and other sensitive information.
