Job Description
Contribute to the department's ability to support internal clinical trial activities involving new and existing products. Timely completion of projects by performing routine tasks and may be a part of more complex projects.
This mission will take place in the internal Clinical Affairs St. Louis/Hazelwood Laboratory.
Principal Contributions / Accountabilities and Associated Activities
Provide support to the Clinical Affairs laboratory for logistics activities: ordering, shipping, tracking
Provide support to the Clinical Affairs Laboratory by performing micro lab tasks
Provide support to the Clinical Affairs Laboratory by performing clinical lab testing
Support Clinical Affairs department by working on additional projects as needed
Scope and Resource Accountability
Is responsible for following SOPs, protocols, GLP standards & health/safety guidelines
Is responsible for maintaining and calibrating equipment used in testing activities.
Is responsible to refer results & problems to the local Lab manager
Is responsible for the audit of clinical trial documents for completeness
Typical Experience, Skills and Qualifications
A min. Bachelor degree in laboratory science is required with experience working in micro lab environment (1-2 years) OR
Associate degree in laboratory science with experience in micro lab environment (3-4 years) will be considered
Working knowledge of basic microbiology
