We are seeking a Lab Technician for a very important client.
A Day in the Life of a Lab Technician
· Independently set up test equipment and efficiently execute manual and automated tests.
· Accurately and thoroughly document test results to meet quality system requirements.
· Ensure appropriate calibration and maintenance of test equipment.
· Organize and maintain lab stocks of consumable supplies in the work area.
· Maintain a clean and organized work area.
· Follow established environmental, health, and safety procedures.
· Debug and troubleshoot electromechanical equipment.
· Follow applicable quality system procedures governing development of a Medical Device.

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:
Must Have: Minimum Requirements
Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience and may require vocational or technical education or certification in addition to prior work experience
High school diploma or equivalent
Nice to Have (Preferred Qualifications)
· Experience with hemodialysis, peritoneal dialysis, or other blood filtration and devices.
· Experience working with fluid circuits, including pumping technologies, sensors, valves, and control systems.
· Operate well in a team environment
· Ability to maintain focus and attention to detail in setting up, executing and documenting simulated dialysis treatments in a product development setting.
· Proficiency with Microsoft Excel to perform data entry, data analysis such as graphs and summary statistics, and ability to format data as requested for export to other programs. Develop macros to analyze data.
· Proficient with basic test and measurement equipment, such as multi-meters, thermocouples and RTDs, pressure transducers, flow meters, conductivity cells, pH sensors, weight scales.
· Basic chemistry lab skills to measure ingredients, prepare solutions, and perform simple test measurements such as pH and conductivity.
· Proficiency with Microsoft Word to prepare and document test protocols and test reports.

· While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to be independently mobile.
· The employee is also required to interact with a computer and communicate with peers and co-workers.
· Able to lift 30 pounds
· Able to sit/stand for extended periods of time doing lab work
· Able to sit/stand for extended periods of time doing computer-based work
· Ability to travel is not required for this position
