Purpose and Scope
Maintain the flow of laboratory glassware, supplies, materials, and information in adherence with cGMP requirements.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Wash and dry glassware and distribute it to appropriate locations within the laboratory.
- Assist with ordering, receiving, and tracking of supplies for the laboratory.
- Receive and log routine samples into the Laboratory Information Management System.
- Create, track, and archive logbooks for all required equipment throughout the lab.
- Assist the sample coordinator in the sample disposal process and maintaining available storage space for samples.
- Accountable for maintaining an atmosphere of teamwork, cordiality, and respect towards co-workers.
- Stage supplies for transport between the two labs. Utilize the temperature data logger software to communicate excursions to the warehouse.
- Maintain good housekeeping practices in the sample submission rooms and QCC laboratories.
- Participate in required annual hazardous waste training. Hazardous waste involvement may include but is not limited to container and tank management and inspections, generation of hazardous waste as a part of production or sampling processes and transfer of hazardous waste between lab procedure area, satellite accumulation and storage. Respond to spills per the Chemical Spill Procedures.
- Complete additional duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Knowledge of quality and cGMP concepts.
- Knowledge of laboratory science principles.
- Ability to read, understand, and follow work instructions.
- Ability to work independently and on a team.
- Good oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to use Microsoft Office and other laboratory management software as applicable.
- Understand and adhere to the Lab Operations processes and procedures.

Education& Experience
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Associate’s degree in science or college level science courses preferred.
- One or more years of experience in a laboratory setting.
Working Conditions
- Laboratory environment. Will be working with detergents, hot water, dilute acids and bases, drug products, cleaners and solvents, bio-hazardous materials, and hazardous waste.
- Must be adaptable to shifting priorities and operate with a sense of urgency while maintaining high quality to meet important timelines in a high throughput lab.
- Work may consist of travel between multiple facilities.
- Business demands may present a need to work extended hours.
- Primary work hours are Monday - Friday, 2:00 pm - 10:30 pm.
Compensation and Benefits
- Pay rate of $19.25 - $20.25/hour
