SalaryThe Quality Control Technician will be responsible for verifying that receiving in-process and finished products comply with documented specifications. The successful candidate will possess a high degree of professionalism, maturity and confidentiality.
Essential Job Functions:
- Inspect and test receiving, in-process and finished products according to standard operating procedures
- Identify and record any problems relating to the product, process and quality system
- Assist in writing or revising standard operational procedures
- Maintain the quality control laboratory and ensure laboratory safety requirements
- Qualify, maintain and calibrate quality control inspection, measuring and test equipment in accordance with schedules
- Maintain quality records in accordance with documented procedures
- Release/quarantine in-process materials based on inspection or test results
- Initiate, recommend, or provide solutions through designated channels
