Travel Catheterization Laboratory (Cath Lab) Tech Job

Sunbelt is looking to hire a Cath Lab Techto join staff for a contract assignment in Passaic, New Jersey. The ideal candidateenjoys traveling and has 2 years of experience in the field.

Responsibilities:

1. Equipment Setup and Maintenance:

   • Prepare and set up the Cath Lab, ensuring that all necessary equipment, imaging devices, and sterile supplies are available and functioning properly.
   • Perform routine maintenance on catheterization equipment and troubleshoot technical issues as they arise.

2. Procedure Assistance:

   • Assist cardiologists and other healthcare professionals during catheterization procedures, ensuring the safe and efficient operation of imaging equipment.
   • Operate fluoroscopic and angiographic equipment to capture high-quty images during procedures.
   • Monitor patients' vital signs, ECG tracings, and comfort during procedures.

Qufications:

• Completion of an accredited cardiovascular technologist program.
• Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specist (RCIS) certification is preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
• Previous experience in a Cath Lab or interventional radiology setting is desirable.
• Strong technical skills and proficiency in operating fluoroscopic and angiographic equipment.
