Chemistry lab technicians assist chemists in their lab work. As time progresses, lab technicians are completing a greater number of tasks that previously would have been performed by highly trained chemists. Technicians are responsible for monitoring chemical processes and testing products as part of quality assurance. Under the supervision of chemists and other team members, they perform repetitive lab activities, such as setting up lab equipment and preparing chemical solutions. They also conduct tests, interpret and analyze data, compile results, prepare reports, and present their conclusions.
This is a second shift weekday position with 4 ten hour workdays. M-Thur.

Candidate must have lab and quality control experience.
Candidate must have a high school diploma or GED.
Position 2: Location: 120 Pine Street, Elyria, OH
This role is in charge of COA's, retains, and raw materials and as time permits will support the lab with QC testing. (see attached)
Pay Rate: $20.00/hour
Shift: 1st Shift Monday - Friday
Lab Support - Client
• This is a first shift (7am – 3:30pm) position M-F with some Overtime expected if needed
• Main priorities are receiving COA's, checking and entering results in Lab Vantage and keeping our retain area up to date by documenting new additions to the retain area and disposing of expired retains
• Additional duties are working in the lab, testing in coming raw material, in process testing and testing of the final product. This includes, but is not limited to, ICP, Xray, Surface Area, Pore Volume, Density and Carbon content of the material.
