SalaryLab Secretary/Accession Clerk (one position)
Key Accountabilities/Competencies:
- Cover slip slides.
- Confirm specimen identification, sort the specimens, and provide accurate computer-based data entry.
- Accurately label specimen with accession numbers.
- Work as part of a dynamic team, feeding work to the grossing technician.
- Keep the accessioning area stocked, clean and free of safety hazards.
- Communicate with other lab personnel, and Dermatology staff to resolve any problems, maintaining harmonious relations with all laboratory staff.
Requirements:
Candidate must have at least a high school diploma or GED, and strong computer skills required. Candidate must be energetic, dependable, detail-orientated, conscientious individual who works well with others.
Hours 7:00am-5:00pm Mon-Thur
