The Opportunity
The Knowledge Base Specialist will play a vital role in maintaining and enhancing Dollar Tree/ Family Dollar’s HR Knowledge Base, ensuring employees have access to the latest information and resources they need to succeed. They will be responsible for creating, editing, and publishing HR Knowledge Base articles, as well as preserving the overall quality and accuracy of the Knowledge Base.
Specific responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Develop and maintain an organized and user-friendly HR Knowledge Base, utilizing best practices in information architecture and organization.
- Research and compile accurate and up-to-date information on HR policies, procedures, benefits, company announcements, and other relevant topics.
- Write clear and concise content for the Knowledge Base, ensuring it's easily understood by a diverse audience.
- Conduct regular audits and updates of the Knowledge Base content to maintain its accuracy and relevance.
- Collaborate with HR colleagues to gather and incorporate new information and feedback.
- Troubleshoot user inquiries and provide accurate and timely responses via the Knowledge Base or other channels.
- Stay abreast of emerging HR trends and best practices, continually evolving the content and format of the Knowledge Base.
- Support the development and implementation of new HR initiatives by providing relevant Knowledge Base resources.
- Maintain a strong understanding of relevant compliance regulations and ensure their accurate representation in the Knowledge Base.
Minimum Requirements/ Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree Preferred
- Minimum of 3 years of experience working with HR information systems and Knowledge Bases.
- Proven ability to research, compile, and write clear and concise documentation.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with content management systems and Knowledge Base authoring tools is a plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
