Kitchen Team Member

Are you handy in the kitchen? Do you find joy in preparing and serving healthy food? If you do, we are looking for the right person to join us here at Grove-R Daycare and Preschool in Harvey Michigan.

We provide 2 meals and 2 snacks each day to the children in our care.

You would need to be available Monday-Friday from 7 am to 1:30 pm

Responsibilities:
- Preparation of meals and snacks each day
- Follow provided recipes and pre-planned menus
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including proper storage of food items
- Adhere to food safety and sanitation standards
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff and teachers to ensure smooth operation of the kitchen

-Cleaning up after each meal and snack.

Qualifications:
- Knowledge of basic cooking techniques and food preparation methods
- Familiarity with kitchen equipment and utensils, including knives and cutting boards
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and practices

We provide all training in food safety and sanitation protocols.
