Responsibilities
- Manage and train all kitchen staff
- Supervise food prep and cooking
- Maintain a HACCP plan for all food items
- Establish portion sizes and manage overall food cost
- Scheduling for kitchen staff
- Execute menu according to client guidelines/specifications
- Order food supplies and kitchen equipment, as needed
- Maintain Food and Health safety in the kitchen
- Work with General Manager, Client Chef and Culinary Program Manager in establishing kitchen standards and operating procedures
Skills
- Proven work experience as a Kitchen Manager, Restaurant Manager or Head Chef
- Hands-on experience with planning menus and ordering ingredients
- Knowledge of a wide range of recipes
- Familiarity with kitchen sanitation and safety regulations
- Excellent organizational skills
- Conflict management abilities
- Ability to manage a team in a fast-paced work environment
- Flexibility to work during evenings and weekends
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $28.00 per hour
