Responsibilities:
- Oversee and coordinate the day-to-day operations of the kitchen
- Supervise kitchen staff and provide guidance as needed
- Ensure food preparation meets quality standards and health regulations
- Manage inventory control to minimize waste and ensure availability of necessary supplies
- Collaborate with the catering team to plan and execute events
- Train new kitchen employees on food safety practices and procedures
- Assist in menu planning and development to meet customer needs
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
Requirements:
- Previous experience in food service, catering, or related field
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively
- Knowledge of food industry standards and practices
- Proficiency in inventory control and ordering processes
- Familiarity with food safety regulations and procedures
- Excellent communication skills to interact with staff, management, and customers
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
