Job Summary
Future Bars is looking for prep staff at our central kitchen. While our kitchen does not operate on a by-ticket system, all products produced and created will be used in the daily production of high-quality, handcrafted, cocktails and our various bar outlets in San Francisco and the East Bay. General duties will be performed at our downtown San Francisco location, primarily from the hours 7am to 3pm Tuesday - Saturday.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Cook, prepare, or batch syrups, bitters, and other cocktails ingredients
- Keep assigned station clean and help during end of day cleanup
- Use knowledge of food preparation to assure consistency
- Cut, slice, and package fruits and vegetables
- Squeeze, strain, and bottle fresh juice
- Deliver finished products to bars for daily service
Qualifications
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Minimum 1 year in prep encouraged
- Basic kitchen knowledge and knife skills
- Driver license is preffered
- ServSafe or equivalent certification encouraged
- Spanish language a plus
- Ability to lift 60 pounds
- Must be able to stand during prolonged production hours (8)
- Barback experience a plus
- General knowledge of spirits and/or cocktails encouraged
