Key responsibilities and accountabilities:
- Support all volunteer, in carrying out all day-to-day activities required in running the facility and all programs.
- Controls inventory levels by conducting physical counts; reconciling with data storage system.
- Maintains physical condition of kitchen by inspecting equipment; issuing work orders for repair and requisitions for replacement.
- Maintains kitchen volunteer by orienting and training volunteers.
- Reports to the Kitchen Manager.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Client service
- Ensure positive client service in all areas.
Operational responsibilities
- Monitor sanitation practices to ensure that employees follow standards and regulations.
- Check the quantity and quality of received products.
- Order food and supplies needed to ensure efficient operation
- Supervise or coordinate activities of volunteers engaged in food preparation
- Inspect supplies, equipment, or work areas to ensure compliance to established standards.
- Record operational data unto salesforce
- Plan, direct, supervise the food preparation activities
- Determine production schedules and volunteer requirements necessary to ensure timely delivery of services
- Ensure a safe working and client environment to reduce the risk of injury and accidents. Completes accident reports promptly in the event that a client, volunteer or employee is injured.

- Provide direction to volunteers regarding operational and procedural issues.
- Conduct orientation, explain the Flagstaff Family Food Center mission, and oversee the training of new volunteer.
ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Keeps Kitchen Manager promptly and fully informed of all issues (i.e. problems, unusual matters of significance and positive events) and takes prompt corrective action where necessary or suggests alternative courses of action.
- Completes job responsibilities and performance objectives in a timely and effective manner and in accordance with Flagstaff Family Food Center policies and procedures.
- Maintains a favorable working relationship with all company employees to foster and promote a cooperative and harmonious working climate which will be conducive to maximum employee morale, productivity and efficiency/effectiveness.
- Performs other duties and responsibilities as required or requested.
- 3 year Clean Driving Record required before hire.
WORKING CONDITIONS
- This Position is for Friday, Saturday and Sunday
- Ability to perform all functions at the restaurant level, including delivery when needed.
- Position requires prolonged standing, bending, stooping, twisting, and lifting products and supplies weighing 45 pounds, and repetitive hand and wrist motion.
Work with hot, cold, and hazardous equipment as well as operates phones, computers, fax machines, copiers, and other office equipment.
