SUMMARY:
The Kitchen Manager is responsible for all aspects of the Revel Surf Food and Beverage operations, fiscal budgets, revenue, and expenses. He or she is also responsible for all equipment for the facility both existing, the maintenance thereof and capital improvements. The Kitchen Manager must possess an in-depth understanding of financial reporting and P&L statements. The Kitchen Manager facilitates the fulfillment of company goals, vision and initiatives. The Kitchen Manager is responsible for always ensuring the highest standard of food quality and guest service. The Kitchen Manager will maintain a comprehensive understanding of all events and amenities within the park. The Kitchen Manager must possess impeccable Communication skills both written and verbal. The Kitchen Manager is directly responsible for the development of a leadership team and ensuring the cumulative development of staff. The Kitchen Manager is also charged with the day-to-day operations management and client services required for outstanding guest service.
RESPONSIBILITIES
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS BUT NOT LIMITED TO:
· Manages the day-to-day F&B operations of the facility.
· Oversee all operations and business activities to ensure they produce the desired results and are consistent with the overall strategy and mission
· Menu design, development and implementation to match the high standard of Revel Surf Parks
· Review financial and non-financial reports to devise solutions or improvements
· Optimize financial results (drive sales and control costs)
· Analyze financial reports and develops action plans to grow revenue and control expenses in order to meet or exceed annual budgets.
· Maintain systems which insure overall fiscal responsibility for inventory, COGs, and loss prevention
· Analyze problematic situations and occurrences and provide solutions to ensure company survival and growth
· Assures staffing levels and management coverage is appropriate to meet the needs of the business and maximize the guest experience.
· Leads and influences management staff through effective motivation, leveraging individual strengths to ensure guest satisfaction and maximum productivity.
· Promotes positive team member relations including effective delegation of managerial duties, fostering high staff morale, upholding operation standards, and execution of the performance management process.
· Set goals by period and hold managers accountable for setting and meeting departmental goals
· Consistently meet the standard for the guest experience (quality of operations)
· Maintain a safe and secure environment for all Revel Surf guests and staff
· Continuously improves operational execution through attention to detail and adherence to Revel Surf operating standards and philosophies.
· Schedules, plans and organizes work and communicates goals.
· Ensures staff compliance of standards and procedures, identifies opportunities for improvement and resolves issues.
· Monitors all departmental appearances and ensures problems are solved quickly

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
· Minimum of 5 years Management /Food and Beverage Management experience
· Water/Surf attraction experience is a plus
· 3 years of senior executive experience (KM or Executive Chef)
· Culinary degree or equivalent education preferred
· Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
· Computer skills with Microsoft Windows and knowledge of Excel are required for the position.
· Proven track record with restaurant development and labor cost analysis
· Awareness of local, state and federal health and sanitation laws

· Ability to lift and carry 25 lbs. and move it as needed
WORK ENVIROMENT
· Travel may be required for occasional deliveries, visits to other locations, company meetings or catering events
· Interior Work Areas- office environment with normal noise level,moderate to hot temperatures in the kitchen areas. Flooring is tile in the kitchen and carpeted or tile in the restaurant. Rubber mats cover the floor behind the bar. Possibly encountering wet or slippery floor surfaces.
· Exterior Work Areas- may have extreme temperatures depending on weather conditions

Pay: $75,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
