Kitchen Designer/Sales Person

Main Street Kitchen And Bath, is currently seeking a Kitchen Designer/Salesperson to join out team. Our ideal candidate is proficient in design, experienced in both new construction and residential, take offs and estimating. Knowledgeable of various materials and interior finishes. Has a great team spirit and excellent customer service skills. Must have high organization and communication skills and the ability to follow directions and work in a busy environment.

Responsibilities:

Design Kitchens and Baths for Residential new construction and remodels.

Produce clear and accurate drawings and installation details.

Prepare quotes and proposals.

Conduct field measurements.

Update clients regarding changes or delays.

Track current and potential sales.

Requirements:

Proficiency with 2020 Design Software or any other design software is a must.

Have an excellent interpersonal communication and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.

Must be able to work independently and willing to contribute to the growth and development of this department.

Minimum of 5 years of experience of proven success in kitchen and bath sales.

Must have strong math and measurement skills.

Must be able to read, understand blueprints, and create 2D and 3D conceptual designs.

Architectural experience preferred but not required. ***Do Not Apply without a minimum of 5 years Kitchen and Bath Design Experience***

Job Description:

This position will bring a project from initial consultation through final project drawings. Typical daily requirements are working with clients to gain an understanding of their needs, field measuring, conceptual design creation, pricing cabinetry and associated materials for a given project, and construction drawing creation.

-Full-Time Position with the ability to work Saturdays.

The Ideal Candidate Will Also Have:

-Bachelors or Associates degree in Interior design or Architecture
