Kitchen & Bath Designer

Role Overview:

We are seeking a Lead Kitchen and Bath Designer to join our team. This critical front-line, customer-facing position is integral to realizing the high level of customer service and sales for which KBI is known. As the main point of contact and "dream" designer for KBI Store's customers, you'll ensure a positive customer experience by enthusiastically completing all customer-facing requests, designs, orders, and follow-up to drive business and referrals. Your role will involve maintaining a presence in the showroom during our open hours, Monday through Thursday from 10 am to 6 pm and Fridays from 10 am to 5 pm.

Responsibilities:

·         Meet and greet clients, establishing relationships and understanding their project needs.

·         Guide clients through selections of cabinets, countertops, flooring, tile, and other products.

·         Produce detailed scopes of work and designs for customer approval and order placement.

·         Maintain daily tracking of customer projects in the CRM system.

·         Work with vendors and contractors to ensure excellent installations.

·         Assist in achieving sales goals and maintaining a positive showroom environment.

·         Utilize design software such as 20/20, Revit, and AutoCAD to draft designs for customer approval.

Qualifications:

·         Kitchen & Bath Design and Cabinetry skills.

·         Excellent Customer Service and Communication skills.

·         Sales experience and ability to drive sales.

·         Proficiency in 2020 design software; AutoCAD and Revit preferred.

·         Associates or Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design preferred.

·         Minimum of 3 years of experience designing and selling cabinetry projects.

·         NKBA certification a plus.
