We are looking for someone who wants to grow with our team in creating the best food & gaming experience around.

We are a PC gaming bar & restaurant. We have a full bar and kitchen on one half and high end PCs, consoles and Red Bull racing simulators on the other. We also have tournament rooms and an upstairs lounge with a TV setups and an oversized projector. Our staff culture is very team-oriented. We pick each other up to get things done and have a great time doing it.

We host parties, esports tournaments and other events throughout the week along with our regular facility hours.

We are located on North High Street beside the Gateway Movie Theater.

Job Description

Kitchen Shifts are from 11:00am-4:00pm and 4:00pm-10:30pm. All positions are part-time, up to 30 hours per work week. The shifts usually range from 6-8 hours. You’ll know in advance if you’re scheduled to work events. Event hours may include Breakfast Specials (8am-1pm) and Late Night Events (11pm-1am). These shifts are optional, but financial incentives are often included as these are outside of general hours.

Responsibilities:

Listed below, but not limited to…

• Taking instruction from Lead Station
• Prepare food items consistently and in compliance with recipes, portioning, cooking and waste control guidelines
• Keeping your station in compliance with sanitation regulations and safety standards
• Following opening and closing procedures
• Interacting with delivery drivers
• Standing for the entirety of the shift
• Maintain a positive, professional approach with coworkers and customers

Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years of Kitchen Experience preferred
• Positive attitude (Team morale is crucial)
• Willingness to learn and be flexible
• Ability to effectively work in an open kitchen setting
• Ability to work in a noisy, fast-paced environment with confidence
• Excellent communication skills
• High standard of customer service and cleanliness
• Team player with awesome work ethic
• Able to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 50 pounds
