Kindergarten Teacher

Hi!

We are a private preschool in the East Dallas area utilizing multiple teaching methods. Our classes use an emergent curriculum that is very child centered, play-based, and nature-centered. We utilize Waldorf, Reggio-Emilia, and Montessori teachings in our preschool. We are looking for a certified Kinder teacher who would be able to utilize Handwriting without Tears adapted, and Heggerty Phonic Awareness. Willingness to learn the programs. You would have a small inclusive class of up to 12 children on your own. You must have knowledge of public school TEKS and be a certified teacher. Must have at least PreK, Kinder, or 1st grade experience 1-2 years.

We love to share ideas and let the children be the center to utilize their creative and imaginative minds to create an amazing classroom. We are a nature based program utilizing outside classrooms for a majority of the day.

This will not be a traditional Kindergarten teacher role. Please be willing to think outside the box and be willing to try new things. Someone with lots of energy who will also be aware of keep up with Minimum Standards. Trainings as well will be provided.

our school year and summer programs run separately, but the salary is for working both all 12 months of the year. You get paid time off, winter and spring breaks off as well as paid federal holidays off.
