WHAT IS KIDSTRONG?
At KidStrong, we help parents build stronger, smarter, more athletic kids. KidStrong is a milestone accelerator for kids walking through 11 years old. We help parents discover their child's superpowers and build future-ready kids who are confident in making friends, running the playground, and raising their hands high in the classroom. In other words... kids who will win at life!
OPEN ROLE & SCHEDULE

• We are looking for coaches with an athletic or coaching background who ideally have experience coaching kids within the KidStrong age range
• KidStrong Head Coach would focus on coaching children on the brain, physical, and character development that stems from evolving monthly curriculum
• The ideal candidate must also be comfortable speaking to parents/guardians regarding "the why" behind the KidStrong curriculum
• Set schedules for the coaching staff
• Assess and evaluate the center's coaches' performances and execution
• Our classes run weekdays 9 am -11 am and evenings until 7 pm.
• On weekends we start at 8 AM and run through lunchtime.
• Opportunity for a flexible work schedule depending on studio needs.
• Additional opportunity to increase scheduled hours through birthday party coaching hours.
• Prior experience as a pediatric OT/PT is a plus, but not required!

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITESE

• The Head Coachwill lead and develop their coaching team in addition to coaching required amount of classes
• Deliver predesigned workouts to parents and students (max 15 students per class) ages walking through 11 years old
• Energize and motivate members throughout the 45 minute class
• Build KidStrong attendance while retaining and building relationships with current members
• Ensure safety of participants
• Maintenance and cleaning of center equipment and floor
• Work with Center Director on low usage and parent concerns and question calls
• Schedule and management for all coaches
• Teach a minimum of 20 classes per week
• Attend and/or present at monthly staff meeting
• Assist Center Director, when needed, with KidStrong center growth

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

• Passion for working with children is non-negotiable!
• Previous experience in leadership and management is preferred but not required
• Prior experience coaching students within the appropriate KidStrong age group is preferred
• Experience talking to and educating adults (parents)
• Intermediate knowledge of physiology, exercise technique, and body mechanics
• Ability to multi-task and stay organized
• CPR certified
• Positive, motivating, and effective interpersonal communication skills
• Self-starter who just gets a job done

ADDITIONAL JOB DETAILS

• Working days: Weekday morning and evenings, weekend mornings.
• Hours per week 25-40
• Typical start time: 8am
• Typical end time: 7pm

Compensation: $20.00 - $30.00 per class + Admin pay
