Kids Ministry Associate - Midtown Campus

Position Summary:
The Kids Ministry Associate will play a vital role in leading and facilitating week-to-week classroom coordination as well as all other leadership to our Kids Ministry families and volunteers at Midtown (ages newborn through 6th grade). This position requires an ability to lead the ministry in the absence of the Kids Pastor. A long-term goal would be for this person to be mentored, trained, and licensed to lead in a pastoral role, as growth continues both in the church and their ability to lead and shepherd.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

• Prep all areas with supplies and lessons related to Kids Ministry for each event happening. (i.e. check-in desk, classrooms, mother's room, gym, playground, etc.)
• Manage rosters and all data using our Ministry Platform program
• Ensure a safe and secure environment for our children and volunteers
• Lead and serve on Sundays as a staff representative
• Lead/co-lead in planning additional special events to reach families
• Plan and execute media and technology each week
• Organize and track volunteer placement, data, and special needs
• Work with coaches to ensure all classrooms are adequately staffed each week
• Organize and distribute promotional items (social media, forms, pamphlets)
• Work with all staff at Fellowship to align with the vision and mission of the church
• Other related duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities):
Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Bachelor's Degree (preferred)
• Ministry experience (preferred)

Knowledge and Skills:

• Proficient in Microsoft Office and Outlook
• High leadership capacity and an eagerness to grow and learn in this area as well.
• Strong organizational and administrative abilities

• Initiates well on their own anticipating needs?
• Is hardworking and is willing to check things off the list?
• Able to balance multiple tasks in an effective and efficient manner
• Serves and interacts well with volunteers, members and guests
• Serves and operates well in team environment ?
• Can organize details and communicate them well?

• If not a member of Fellowship Bible Church, will commit to going through the membership process
• Regular involvement in Fellowship Bible Church activities and events
• Signed acknowledgement of Fellowship Bible Church's "Confession of Faith" form
• Signed acknowledgement to policies and procedures as stated in Fellowship Bible Church's Employee Manual
• Living out the spiritual principles outlined in the "Code of Conduct"

Work Schedule:

• Monday - Thursday 8:30 am. - 5:00 p.m.
• Friday and Saturday off
• Sunday 7:30 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.
