The Key Account Specialist is the primary point of contact for key assigned accounts, providing best in class real-time account management, order and quote development, product specification support, logistics management, problem resolution and effectively addressing any of the client’s needs in an effective and timely manner.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately processes quotes, orders, and returns
- Manages product returns, support cases, shipping claims, processes return and replacement orders
- Follows through with customer inquiries, with a high level of urgency
- Resolves routine customer issues independently, escalating queries and concerns to director as appropriate
- Actively participates in training involving our products, systems and design
- Manages all open sales documents and communicates accordingly with Key Accounts
- Manages DNR and 3PL orders and related logistics
- Manages reporting including SalesPad Quick Reports, Tableau and Power BI as needed
- Manages architectural project workflow from start to finish, collaborating with dedicated ALS/Lighting Designer
- Thrives working in a fast-paced work environment and has strong time management skills
- Ability to track multiple deadlines, juggling changing schedules and customer expectations while managing their allotted time effectively to maximize productivity
- Additional duties as required
- 3+ years’ previous experience in customer service or project management required
- 2+ years of experience with Visual Comfort & Co
- 2 or 4-year college graduate preferred
- Ability to demonstrate a mastery of VCC - Direct products, systems, and processes
- Strong aptitude for and proficiency navigating CRM and Order Management systems
- Experience in interior design, custom home building products, luxury home furnishings and/or lighting industry a plus
- Proactive problem solver with experience working in a fast-paced environment
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills, with a strong attention to detail
- Ability to effectively prioritize and handle multiple tasks and changing priorities with a sense of urgency
- Exhibits professionalism with customers, team members and all levels of leadership
- Must demonstrate maturity in judgement, commitment, dependability and punctuality
- Ability to achieve results both independently and through others by fostering a spirit of teamwork and cooperation
